Rules in Konoha:

1. To become a teenager, you must have had a traumatic childhood.  Exceptions are rare.

2. Having a name and being under 60 automatically make you exempt from death, unless you're evil.  Exceptions are rare.

3. Being in ANBU is a death sentence.

4. If you are a male and like to put on makeup and wear pretty clothes, you must rebel against Konoha

Why is ANBU a death sentence? I like the ANBU.

Because they're always dying.

Why? (As you can see, I've never played it)

Every time I've seen ANBU in the show, most of them are killed off.

Wait, I'm confused. What exactly are we talking about, a game or the show?

Oh (scratch the I've never played it part). Not all of the,m die, the ones in the Forest of Death and the ones watching Orochimaru vs. Third Hokage didn't. And thise are probably the only notable Balck Ops (at least that I know of).

You know how you see a war movie, and there are nameless soldiers? Or in a horror movie when there are always the main characters, and the side characters? The ANBU are kinda like that. They are easy to create, because they dont have names, they dont have a face, or a past, and nobody will miss them if they die. The only exeption was Kakashi, who was a former ANBU member. It's not like that enormous hair of his is easily missed behind an ANBU mask.  ::)

Well, Yamato is also an ANBU, and he's a notable character.

true dat. Like the other rule says, if you're under 60, and are important enough to have a name and identity, you are exempt from death.
