it's the american release that has VERY bad voice acting, but if you listen to the japanese dubs, they actually show more emotion, you don't have to understand the language to tell the subtle tones in the voice that give more appropriate emotion.

Blame america's HORRIBLE use of dubbing not placing emphasis where emphasis be placed, and screwing up the american version so it's not the same as it was originally.

Yes, all the 'touching' scenes in Naruto are a lot more emotional in the Japanese version, but in American version they aren't that emotional.

Umm... LOTS of american cartoons are animated/colored in SOUTH Korea. famous examples include: The SImpsons, Family Guy (I THink), American Dad (not sure about this one either...), King of the Hill, and Futurama. And ALL of those are clearly american shows. So why do they move the work over to SK? Because it's cheaper to produce and animate the stuff over there rather than over here...

Yes, a lot of the  cartoons today aren't that original and pretty sucky. But some of them are quite good, even if they ARE pretty old... shows like ye olde original Transformers (Believe it or not, this came from Japan as anime... I think... but it was very much anime style!) People may not realize this, but quite a few old cartoons like Speed Racer (Although, NO Hannah-Barbara) were originally anime, then moved over to america. And there are quite a few anime that came over during the 80's that were based off of fairy tales, that may not seem completely anime-ish at first, but its true.
