I got a cell phone!

I got my cell phone in 8th grade, and quite frankly, it sucks. it has no good features at all.

mine can hold music.  ive had one forever, because we go to faraway places for band trips, but i just got a new one for my birthday a few months back.

my mom only got me one when i was 15/16 because i haved so many random things to do at school she never knows where i am.

Same with me and basketball. Our coach ends our practices at random times, so mom decided to get me one.

As for me, my parents got me one because I was heading off to college.  I didn't do very much after school, but I was within walking distance anyway.  And the teachers I did stay after with were usually nice about letting me use the phone to call home for a ride if I needed one, but I was just got a ride home with a friend or my sister.
