Things you forget with timelines

Well, here's a list:

a)You forgot about Nintendo yourself, and don't lie that you do remember. Most of you have been searching through ONLY the Zelda games for a timeline, but you should also put into consideration of Nintendo's actions. I don't really think that they are making these games specifically to fit each game into place for a timeline, but really just a profit and very pleased gamers.

b) The Four Sword series and Minish Cap have little to do with other games, excpet Ganon's appearence in FSA.

c) They never planned for some of the newer games to come out when the older ones like the original 2 and LTTP were made. This could explain some things (like how in some games the sgaes are Human or Hylian, and how in other the races vary).

d)The Twilight Realm is probably the Sacred Realm, but TP is eons away from LTTP (probably after, now that I think about it) and the mirrors that appear in each game are different.

e) How do you know in TWW Link and Tetra found the new Hyrule. The trees the Koroks planted were made so that forests would spread and, after a while, turn the many islands into one, big island. Mabye the trees got rid of the ocean, as planned.

So, how will your opinion change about the timeline now?

Not.

1) I never believed and will never believe Nintendo has a "timeline document" and I have recently accepted there REALLY is no timeline except for the one you make up yourself. If Nintendo didn't bother about putting something in the game (like clear references to where it fits in the timeline), it's debatable and not canon.

2) Don't know what you mean with that. If it means that they aren't part of the timeline, like a lot of people think, I have to say I disagree. It's weak to not include them in a timeline just because it's "too difficult".

4) The Twilight Realm is not the Sacred Realm.

5) I'll see what happens. But personally, I think the water will dissappear in time.

I suggest you read this article by The Missing Link. You're taking this far too seriously. Have you ever considered doing what TML does and come up with a timeline for the story aspect of it? It's much funner since Nintendo's apparent lack of info and plethora of ambiguous info allows for pleny of artistic license, and artistic license is always fun. And since everything can be interpreted in different ways, you can keep on coming up with different timelines, all of them making sense for that particular timeline. So (no offense), stop being such a stiff about timelines and enjoy telling a story with them.
