I don't know what my sister did to it, but now the touchscreen on my DS doesn't work and I can't play any games on it!  :'(

Try cleaning it with alcohol and using the stylus. Use cotton balls to clean it, wipe carefully...

But I don't have a DS so I wouldn't know...

Vaati

Are you sure it's a good idea to get it wet, though?

JDog

Oh, thats odd, I'd be able to figure it out better if I was actually there.

Hi no Seijin

Not sure if this will help or not, but I quote from the Health and Safety Precautions Booklet:  "If the Nintendo DS comes into contact with liquids, wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth (use water only)."

I'll just take it to Best Buy or something. Maybe they can see what's wrong.

3 steps:

1.put in box

2.take box to store

3.get new ds

Hi no Seijin

Eh, I would go to either EB Games or Gamestop since they actually specialize in video games, but that's just me.

Using rubbing alcohol does not mean getting it wet. Actually, alcohol can dry pretty fast, so its not gonna get that wet. If you use water on the other hand...

I use rubbing alcohol all the time when cleaning things. Maybe it'll work, just a wee bit on some cotton or tissue.

Ok for Vaati, you may want to try re-calibrating the touch screen from the options menu. It may just be screwed up so you may be able to fix it that way.

To MasterKey: simply buy a new battery for the DS, you can buy them at almost any store or even from Nintendo's online store. Everyone is going to need to do this eventually cause over time the battery loses life.

Bgrugby, I think you mean DS, not wii.

:o Opps, I guess I have been so used to writing Wii lately that it was instinct. Ok changed it.

No, i mean, you get a new battery, it runs out, and then you cant charge it....ever. The charging mechanism is broken!
