the wii is good but i like the gamecube better

you know you can play the gamecube games with the gamecube controllers and everything on the Wii right? So it's like a Gamecube plus tons of other stuff.

Not to mention the Wii has Internet access on it... and a Virtual Console...and it comes with a game....and it's cheaper than any others, but it still rocks hard! ;D

What about the GameCube do you like better, considering the Wii plays GC games as well?

I believe what she means is that the GC still has so many great games, while the wii is only  just building up steam. I don't plan on getting a wii just yet, maybe for a year or so...

What I mean is, the GC had and still has a lot of great games that really took advantage of the beauty and fluidity of the games. But the Wii is only just beginning... I'm just waiting out for a greatervariety of really good games, which might take a while. I got my N64 a year after it came out, even though my brother got it in '96.

Well Wii Play is like Wii Sports as it is a bunch of mini games. There are 9 mini games in all Table Tennis, Laser Hockey, Fishing, Find Mii, Pose Mii, Billiards, Charge!, Tanks, and Shooting (which included shooting balloons, targets, clay pigeons, cans, UFOs, and ducks). The game is 50 bucks but comes with a Wiimote (which retails for 40 dollars) so actually the game is about 10 bucks. A great buy really when you look at the fact that you get a game that seems pretty good for only about 10 bucks and a Wiimote which are almost as hard to find as a Wii.

I was thinking....should i invest in a Retro control? Is it worth it? I mean, what can it do that the regular remote can't?

I would just get a Gamecube controller. You need it anyways for GC games, it works on all VC games, and is cheaper then the Classic Controller.
