Epic Movie(my review)

I saw Epic Movie tonight. It was fairly okay, and had some very good parodies, but it also had a lot of really stupid moments. It was better than Scary Movie 4 though, and is worth seeing.

Frankly I am sick of these kinds of movies, parodies are good but only when done the right way. Having two of these kinds of movies come out a year where all they do is make fun of recent movies is pointless.

yes, they should take the time to produce decent films...but when they are a guaranteed success because of past films, why bother? Hollywood doesn't think about the future.

I haven't seen Epic Movie, but I'm tiring of parodies that try to parody every big movie that has come out recently. I mean, Borat is certainly a big movie, but it's not an epic, so why parody it in a parody of the epic film genre? And it wasn't made the writers were sitting around and thought parodying epic films would be funny, it's because they were thinking of the box office.

I love satire and parody to death, but it is getting so hard to find good ones...

I think Epic Movie looked stupid, as did Scary Movie 4. All it is a a pointless movie that makes other good movies look stupid. I mean, sure, there were funny moments in Scary Movie,but generally, i didnt like it too much.

borat didn't play a big part, though he did have a funny part at the ending. he was only in it for about ten seconds.

Scary Movie and the all the movies that have come from it are total crap. Those movies should have laugh tracks, because I'm never really sure what's supposed to be funny.

mostly you have to see the movies that it parodies to understand it, like some jokes in Epic Movie I didn't understand but other peole did, becuase I hadn't seen the movie.

I've seen the movies they make fun of, but it's still not funny to me. I've seen all of those movies Epic Movie parodies, but it still looks like crap to me.

I actually just got home from seeing it.  I thought it was hilariously funny at some parts and in others it frankly sucked... but it was deffinately worth seeing.

its worth watching as long as you've seen Narnia, Pirates 2, Willy Wonka, and basically any recent relatively well known movies.  same as always with those movies.
