Tingle and Koji Kondo... They are lookalikes!

They look pretty much alike and I think maybe thats where they got his looks from :)

Yeah, I heard about that.  I don't think they're poking fun at Kondo, though.  If I had a Zelda character designed after me, I'd be honored, no matter what other people irrationally think about him (or her; I would have no qualms about being turned into a girl).

I don't think he really looks like Tingle. He doesn't have that huge mole below his mouth.
