Ok, so people know if some one is idle, currently on, or off, I was thinking...

On: A little smiley or something of Link slashing a sword, or have "Fighting" under the words under their avvy.

Idle: Have a picture of Link, like this:  8), or have "Resting" under the words under their avvy.

Off: Have  8) with Zzzz above it, or have "Sleeping" under the words under their avvy.

Idk if this is the right board or not...  :o

no its not...but it is a good idea...you could also choose custom messages, I would put mine to hiding from Navi...

Hi no Seijin

I don't really think it's necessary.  Under a person's avatar, there's a scroll.  It's dark green if the person isn't logged on and light green if they are.  And how are you going to program to forum to know if someone is idle?  Time intervals between posts?  Suppose someone takes a long time to write up the post; do they appear as idle when they're really not?  Simply put, this is a forum, not instant messaging.  On a forum, it's safe to assume you won't get an instant response to something, so you don't really have to tell people you have to go away for a while.  You just get off and come back at a more convenient time.  With instant messaging, it's sort of common courtesy to let the person(s) you're talking to you're stepping away from the computer for a while because people do expect a response soon after they say something.  Otherwise, it wouldn't be instant messaging.

And this definitely belongs more in General Discussion.  This board is more for HA2 matters.  Which now makes me wonder why ZV created his forum for HA2 matters.
