I'm sorry, but until Jack says so himself, we cannot make it an official rule. If somebody says "piss" you can't warn. A rule has to be made official by the admin. And that doesent mean that everyone should go completely nuts with using it.

ZV, these are all words that are definetly either cuss and/or insults, you should know these are clear cut words that are banned.

Also, I think what I said may have confused, so by ban I mean "use these and you get a warning".

I was against this from the beginning, members should know this by now. How should I put how terrible the annoyances were...

I'll remove it for now and ask Jack on whether or not it counts as a cuss word. JQ's warning still stays because he used it in a way to clearly target me.

I haven't either, Akatsuki, you are the only person I know who considers piss a curse... It means pee, seems kind of immature to consider it a cuss, like when I was little peole used to say "shut up" was a cuss.

I think he means piss as in...

'piss off' and then a person usually adds a little bit more to spice it up...it can be considered one...but I agree, it's hardly a cuss word.

Frankly, this whole list is quite inappropriate. This has got to be the first time I have ever seen a forum actually post words that cannot be used.

It is common sense what you can say and what you cannot say. The rule should simply be "If you think it could be profanity...IT IS!" I would say use the language you use in school, but I see alot of kids who swear in school without reservation (and I have no problem giving them a detention or suspending them). It is not that hard to use proper language on here. I probably swear more then anyone else on here in real life but it is easy to use "appropriate" words. And listing them will only lead to problems, especially the N-word which could lead to alot of anger and controversy. And if a kid is on here and a parent sees this list, that will only lead to problems.

You do not need a list, AGAIN IF YOU THINK IT IS INAPPROPRIATE...IT IS!!! Simple as that and if you break it you get a warning, no big deal but you know not to use it again. But having a list is ridiculous.

Now I know some kids think it is cool to swear, heck I used to think that when I was young but in reality you look like an idiot or an immature punk when you swear, so if that is how you want to be viewed, go ahead and swear, get a warning and lose alot of respect from members on the forum. Because it doesn't make you look cool to swear, only makes you look like an idiot.

Still, regarding what Jack said about swearing, I think he said that he'd accept damn and hell, but any other would be inappropriate.

Yeah, Akatsuki, this probably wasn't a good idea. I agree with bgrugby (well the gist of it anyway, not the "swerng is teh ebil!!11!1" part) in that listing them could bring in some bad juju.

Guys, this topic should never have been started. It's common sense; anybody with even the slightest amount of dignity should realize that certain words cannot be said.

So, considereing I've been here rather long compared to many others, I say that this was almost never a problem, not really. I mean, I have never come on here and seen a member get more than 3 warning for cussing. So, I think this whole idea is stupid, but if you want, we can wait for Jack and see what he has to say.
