weren't Destiny islands in the dark realm though? Because I remember after beating Xehanort Riku and Sora were lying on teh beach and it was covered in black and they were talking about where to go.

yes but then the door to light opened and they ended up on Destiny Island. But either way I'm excited for kh3

okay. I think it is Sora, Riku and Kairi. The guy who removes his helmet could be an older Sora, just he has helmet hair and the wind is blowing it back. Your hair isn't gonna be spiky anymore if you fought in a sweaty, tight-fitting helmet. and Kairi could dye her hair when she's older. and if Sora was indeed the helmeted guy, then he could have gone to Ansem's side, because his eyes are yellow like Ansems, and like Riku's when riku embraced the darkness.

According to Tetsuya Nomura, the characters in the trailer are totally new characters in the KH series. Interesting theory, but it's unfortunately been disproven. (I think I supported that theory at one point, actually.)

but they look so much alike...and MIckey is there, so it couldn't have been long after KH2...wait a second...birth by sleep...maybe this is an alternate world, and the bad guy has the real world in some kind of deep sleep or something...

That's interesting. Though you have to admit the guy does look a lot like roxas even if its not him.

They have to at least be related, but there hasn't been time for them to have kids or anything, that's why I think the alternate dimension thing is likely...or maybe they are just at a certain part in the game and then you use Sora and stuff again...which I really hope, a game just doesn't seem right without the trio...

Possibly. Or maybe the whole world (or dilemma) was caused because of some kind of slumber.

Regarding the soldiers, perhaps they are the Chasers of Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Typically, the soldiers are new characters, but why would there be a brief moment of Sora's face showing while one of the soldiers was being frozen? Maybe Square's taking another Roxas approach--Roxas being a new character but being Sora's Nobody. All of this COULD be the reason why they look so much alike.

There is...a possibility...what if those three were nobodies...and Roxas was one and was killed..it showed King Mickey watching at the end, maybe that was what the letter was about at the end...

that would be really interesting. OOO I can't wait for it to come out... Do you think it will come out on the ps3??

yes, unfortunately... 8)I mean, we're looking at at least another year, right? No way they will even be SELLING PS2s that late, they are in it for profit...

Anybody have any theories as to the identity of that old dude who kicked their *sses? I think he has something to do with Ansem/Xehanort/Xemnas, myself.
