Oh man oh man oh man oh man. I am madly in love with the Pirates franchise; I walked forty minutes in New Mexican heat to see the second one. This looks likes it is going to be amazing.

Hehe, I didn't ask that. I just asked what it is that makes people consider it good movies (for me for instance: the first 15 min of the first movie were enough evidence I didn't need to watch more, because it had too many cliches I am highly sensitive too, in a negative way.) If you consider it funny, awesome and amazing, that's great. But why do you consider it that?

I like it because it has a lot of funny jokes that don't ruin the seriousness and tension of the fighting. It's unique, and the fighting scenes are great, not to mention the special effects.

One, cause I think Jack sparrow is absolutly hilarious... you'll remember this as the day, that you almost captured Captain Jack sparrow, awesome cause I like the story line, amazing cause there are some famous people in it, and they all play important parts!

Sometimes, you've gotta take a movie, even though it has quite a few cliches, it uses them in such a way that it becomes very lively. The humor is really really quite lively, no reason to be abusive in your opinions if the trip is truly  a fun one to take.

Who cares about story when the ride is THIS much fun?

4. It perfectly mixes history with fantasy. I wish more movies did that (I'm looking at you, Troy<_<)

Plus the action scenes are really well put together.
