nintendo didn't go for graphics, they went for innovation. If you seriously let graphics determine your game choice, you are missing out on a lot of great games.

Yes, and Nintendo stuff has great "graphix," I would choose aLttP sprites over Gears of Wars realism any day. Because I care about the artistic beauty not the realism.

IronKnuckle

Thats why I play Nintendo games. I'm just saying that I perfer the Wii and 360 to PS3. TP actully had awsome graphix and I still think OOT looks real even 9 years after its release.
By the way thanks for showing me how to spell graphix right.

Don't judge early Wii games as what the graphic capabilities are for the Wii. The Wii hasn't even used half of its potential yet.

As for Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, I used to have a PSOne, PS2, and PSP and I was throughly disappointed with all three. The only reason I went over to Sony was because they took the Final Fantasy series from Nintendo but besides that and Madden/MLB and the Jak series that is really all I had to enjoy with Sony. Microsoft and Sony seem to concentrate on games that are all the same..."OMG ALIENZ OR ZOMBIES R HERE...SHOOT EM....KILL EM".

People call Nintendo the kiddie series which I find funny since I see more 20 and 30 year olds getting the Wii then the PS3 or 360. Its all about quality gaming...not how fancy your pixals are.

yes, but you gotta remember looks are everything nowadays.

Well I am sorry but anyone who actually believes that does not know one thing about gaming. And truth be told, in the first two months of 2007 Nintendo has dominated both console wars so far as the Wii and DS have been the top two highest sellers in the months of Jan. and Feb., hopefully this is a sign of things to change.

Do you guys think that the legend of zelda would come to an end any time soon? I don't think it will, but I don't know.

Well, Miyamoto is 55, so there's a chance he might continue the Legend of Zelda series for maybe another ten or fifteen years. I heard he has two kids, but it said that they don't seem interested in taking over the family business.

Fairy penguin

Really? That sucks, his kids won't tak over. And for series that might die, like Baten Kaitos, buy it now. Buy it now. Buy it now. Awsome story, character development, character, monsters, weapons. Oh, and everyone has wings.

IronKnuckle

I think that the next Zelda game should find a way to bring either Vaati or Midna back. They both have HUGE fanbases so it would help sell more games.

I know, I don't go for looks either. But it seems to be true nowadays, people judge everything on how it looks.

MasterKeyX

Which is sad. If you judge, say, Windwaker by how it looks, you'd say it looks retarded and childish, but it's really not that bad of an adventure.

Fishalicious

I remember when I saw tWW, I was like "....what?" I'm still not too fond of the style, but it was a greaaat game. And incredibly well-built. I couldn't find any game-stopping glitches and only minor cosmetic ones. >>;

DW

it was definitely their most humorous one too...

MasterKeyX

Humorous? Have you ever seen Wand of Gamelon or the othe BS-Zelda games (even though they werent made by Nintendo)?

There is a difference between pathetic and humorous, Master HouseKey...
