A very wierd glitch...

one time i played LA (normal,not DX) and everything,link included,turned blue.then i walk over to marin.shes pure red! is this normal?

I wouldn't think so.  The first version (which you refer as the normal version) should be grey scale or something like that.  However, when you play LA or any Game Boy game on a GBA (SP), if you press a certain combination of buttons, the color palette will change.  This might explain the color change.

However, this doesn't work for Game Boy Color games or GBA games.

Yes, you must have hit some buttons on the title screen.

yeah, they did the button combo thing on some of the pokemon handhelds as well, I wouldn't worry about it.
