2 theories

on the page on this site with the zelda theories, i have picked two:

the OoT link and WW Link: related?

i think that they are. somehow, after the hero of time dissapeared, he did have relations (Aryll and WW Link) and left htem in the care of the grandma, who i think is IMPA! call me crazy, but thats what i think.

Who is the friend link is looking for?

i think it is navi. in the begining ofOoT, the deku tree summons navi from some unknown place. since navi and link had such a strong friendship, after link was sent back 7 years at the end of OoT, he still rememberd navi. thats why he is looking in the lost woods, hopeing navi is there.

any thoughts?

sry, i did not finish my statement about the two links. after the grandmother (IMPA?) was left with the children, she was also left the kokiri sword and the hylian sheild, left by the hero. sry, forgot to add that to my statement.

i think you may be on to somthing... they never DID mention the grandmas name, they just referd to her as grandma. and she DID say that the wheapons were passed down didnt she?

i think the she is old 1 just brought there by Link time traveling and that would also explain how she got the sheild, Link would of gave it 2 her, and Link would not b blood rel8ed but it would b passed down in the family by Zelda Impa was her gaurd and Zelda acted like she was family

From LoZ? Well, then LoZ has to be before the Flood, and she somehow menages to stay that way. But she doesn't look like her, and you all forget that Lenzo mentions her as a young lady. That's from when he was young, many years before.

That definitely disproves the first theory, as it proves that the Great Sea was there when Link and Aryll's grandmother was young.

And the shield has been passed down in their family for GENERATIONS. Another thing to note is that according the prologue GENERATIONS passed between OoT and the Flood.

So, no, the theory cannot be true.
