Yeah, Link is looking for Navi in the beggining of MM. He is in the Lost Woods I think, looking for Navi. And Skull Kid used to be a friend of Links.

Tatl practically growled at Link before she was locked out.It was her fault.I would have left her there but,she flew through too fast.

As the title says, "what happened to Navi" ? On Desert Collosus "Ask Ezlo" it said that that she got a job at the local Denny's as a waitress?

I am so disappointed  of how not-observant you guys are. At the end of OoT, being that Navi fulfilled the Great deku Tree's will of being his guardian, Link has become a great Warrior, and can defend himself. So, being that her task is done, she leave Link. Link understands, but, later, he longs for her, since she was one of her best friends. Like Sam and frodo when Frodo leaves for the Grey Havens. After all they went through, she must leave. And Link feels bad, and goes looking for her. (no, Sam doesn't go after Frodo.)

So, Link is looking for Navi in MM. But, alas, never finds her. In later years, a later Link, (TP Link) goes with Navi. Or rather, Navi finds him. You know what I'm saying?
