Now, the Happy Mask Salesman was a lot more amusing than Tingle, at least in my opinion. I know several you say you have "connected" with Tingle. Sure, I've connected with other characters, like Gamma and Shadow from Sonic Adventure 1+2, several of the Gundam characters (heck, I even connected with a couple of the bad guys), Anakin from Star Wars, and many others, but Tingle is not one of them. Why is it wrong acording to some that if someone dislikes a video game character, they should immediately be sent to Hell? Heck, when most people say "I hate Tingle" they're using it light-heartedly, you know, just joking around and all that junk. Also, if he was real, and I saw him on the street, I wouldn't say to my friends, "Hey, let's go mug Tingle guys!" So this is why several people(not saying any names) should stop overreacting and jumping on everybody who says they hate Tingle.

Skizophrenia is when you see and talk to things that aren't there. Kinda like what Link's Grandma had in WW, although that was more distress and trauma, and only temporary.

Actually, he is multiple personality. He is talking with Smeagol. He used to be Smeagol, the ring corrupted him, now he's Gollum/Smeagol...He tries to stay good (Smeagol) but the ring brings out his bad side (Gollum) That's why he betrays the Hobbits.
