The pedestal didn't make Link grow either though...the reason he grew was because Rauru held him until the opportune time to strike. He needed to make sure he was physically able to do the quest (Although I don't see how seven years without food, water,or exercise would make him stronger...) and he had to hide the ToC from Ganon.

I like Link as a kid, he looks cuter, because being that I'm a kid, I'm only attracted to guys around my age.

LadyNintendo

Except for MM and TLOZ, I haven't seen one TLOZ game in which I have to assume Link is not 16 (or very close to it. He seems to be the same age in TWW as he is in TP, OOT, ALTTP etc.

Vaati

I dunno about WW, he looks pretty young. 10 at the youngest, maybe 12 at the oldest.

LadyNintendo

Then what do you think the kids are that are obvious younger than him? Note that their thoughts don't seem much younger than 10, while they clearly are quite a bit younger than Link. Also, Mila, Maggie and Tetra seem to be of his age. Mila goes out alone at night to some far away island and works hard to take care of her dad (not ten-ish). Maggie has a relation with a guard in the Forsaken Fortress (and I doubt they have 10-ish guards there). And Tetra....well, no matter what, I doubt a ten-year old could lead a gang of pirates (properly). It also makes some remarks a little misplaced.

Being adult Link in WW wouldn't fit the graphics or the context.
Your eyes would go ??? and then burn and die

bgrugby

I think having Link being young was perfect for the style as of the game as it made it pretty comedic at times, especially when the pirates launched him in the barell, that was classic  ;D

LadyNintendo

And not something you do with a kid.

Anyway, I don't think I'm capable of understanding what the graphics have to with Link's age. Is it impossible to to draw 16+ in Chibi style? Just one question, how would that work out for Link considering Gonzo is pretty much his age. Not that different, maybe a bit taller. And what's with the context? The context is that a boy who reaches the age of the Hero (last time I checked, that was 16+-) gets his sister kidnapped and is the only one prepared to go rescue her. Not to mention everybody thinks he will succeed.

johnny139

Nope. I, personally, like being a kid more than an adult. Link's been a 12-year-old in every game but OoT and TP, why mess with a good thing?

DW

he was in OoT...sorta...

TP Zelda

Dude! Once you've played TP for awhile, then play OoT, when you're a kid your Kokori sword looks like a knife, and Link looks like a baby, when you're an adult, your sword looks like the Kokori sword, and you look like a kid, and the Boggoron sword look like Master Sword in TP, but in TP you look like an Adult/16 year old, and you're swords look the right size!

Lokes

Doesn't matter much, TWW needed to be done that way, and we all got our wish in TP!
The rising sun will eventually set,
a newborns life will fade.
From sun to moon, moon to sun...
Give peaceful rest to the living dead...

okay.its
oot-8-15
ww-12
tp-16
the legend got screwed up and all think hero is 12!
p.s.ezlos evil and dumb cuz he said nabooru stupid. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA  ;) ;) ;)
heres my oppinion
Oot:10-17
ww-12
tp-17
that is kinda logical
because in Ootlil link can't hold the sword with both hands.until he could, rauru kept him.
and in ww he could also lift it with 1 hand.
anywho...YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO CONTROL A WEAPON BEFORE YOU GET IT :P

Bboy94

From Ninty:
OoT: 10 and 17
WW: 12
TP: 16

Fishalicious

I think he shouldn't be an adult in TWW, it would make the game less interesting; Also, he is a child in tWW. The creators made the style fit Link's young mind and so on and so forth.

And if we're to talk of the logic in tWW, about how Tetra leads pirates and is only ten... uh... how do you breath underwater or walk on lava by changing shirts? How is WW Link able to hold the Master Sword... or the Skull Hammer? How is Link in OOT able to hold onto Kaepora Gaebora's talons without his hands being ripped to shreds?

Adding logic to some points in Zelda is... not very wise. ^w^;
