How would YOU describe Link?

Well, Link was meant to be the 'link' between the gamer and the game, I intepret him as quite serious in Majora's Mask... Though he's a bit pretty boy in TP. I mean his LOOKS people.

Actually, half the games and a Mario-game-cameo introduce Link sleeping, and TWW further helps with his laziness. Yes, he is more serious in MM, and in TP he is more of the typical pretty-boy, but....... well, he already went through many hardships in MM, and in TP he is Adult Link, so they have to make him smexy.  :P

Well, they probly all have diffrent personlaities

OOT/MM Link: This link always seems rather quiet, probly becuase he grew up with only one friend (cough Saria). He rarely shows any facial expression, although this is probly due to the grafics of the time or Nintendo being too lazy to have these animations.
WW Link
This is the exact opposite of OOT Link. He actually acts very young and can hardly contain his emotion (an example is when he starts jumping around after killing a boss).
TP Link
TP Link is between these two extreams. He isn't emotionless like OOT, but he doesn't dance around when he kills something either. TP Link might be somewhat of a show off, judgeing by the elaborate ways he sheths his sword and other things.

OoT: About the same as TP, a little more serious
WW: Quick temper, high pitched voice, hyper, determined

I always thought Link was stubborn and liked to rush into things, probably had something to do with getting Courage instead of Wisdom. He also has a main-character-of-a-Shonen-manga-attitude too, like being all righteous for everyone. He's kind of a normal, average guy if you look past the Hero of Hyrule part, but he likes to sleep and is always polite unless he's talking to a bad guy. That's how I always made him in fanfiction, but I tended to give him more of a prankster side too.

I always thought of Shadow Link as more of a prankster, and Dark Link being uber serious and kind of a haunting presence... after you beat him, of course. Possibly even a bit sad, being a shadow/water. I also always thought of him as a bit of a pervert and a tad sarcastic.

And Kishin (Fierce Diety/Oni Link) Link... hm... well, he seems to be kind of aggressive and a bit of a sadist/masochist. I'm not quite sure which one, though. I always thought of him as a past hero, heart hardened by several battles.

Oot: Agile, smart, and very determined.

TWW: Agile, strategic, yet laid back.

TP: More of a serious, hard worker with Courage in abundance, as well as a bit of a show off.
