Toast in a toaster comes out as toastier.  For toast to become bread, it would have to go into a breader.

I think, therefore I am.  But does this include subconscious thinking?  If it doesn't, then we cease to exist while we are asleep.  And usually, when something ceases to exist, it remains nonexistent.  And yet, humans always blink back into existence after sleep.  Is this the source of a teenager's invincibility complex?
