Convo Posting...

I just realized that we may have been doing the Convo Posting wrong...here's the original rule:

6. The forums are not for conversations. If you must communicate one on one with someone, use PMs. That's what they are there for. If only you and one person are posting in the same topic for six replies or so, and the topic of conversation has moved away from the original topic, then it's a conversation.

So, if two people are posting between themselves, but they stay on topic and it isn't spammy, then would it not be a convo post?

Basically, I want the other mod's and Gamefreak's opinions on this, so that we can clarify how we give warnings for Convo Posting...I don't do it unless it's gotten spammy or they start having a personal conversation.

Hmmm....We've judged convo-posting the way it is now for as long as I can remember.  I'll need a night to think about this as my mind is not in the right place right now.

I just think that if only two people are posting in a topic, but they have good ideas and are contributing to the discussion, it's different from, say, Medli talking about how awesome she is with her followers in the middle of a topic.

I suppose you're right... I don't see how a contributing discussion between two members is a bad thing.
