Who doesn't love Panic! At The Disco?

Have some composure, where is your posture?
Oh, no, no, no!
You're pulling the trigger, pulling the trigger all wrong!

Darth Wyndisis

Wow, a "new" Linkin Park song that I actually like.

On the topic of bands and cool music what do you do when you find a really really cool song? Do you milk it for all  the awesomeness it's worth or do you rarely listen to it in fear you might wear out the awesome?

Well I might as well post a band name here for the sake of it.

Euphonius.

Neat band that consists of 2 (sonetimes 3) people.

Not many of you would enjoy them though. But I do and that's all that counts.

I do something sort of in between.  After I've listened to the song 10 - 15 times I try not to listen to it as much, usually only when it comes up using the "shuffle" feature.  It works pretty well for me.  The songs that I thought were awesome last year are still pretty awesome.

I guess it's something like dnd dice. Right?

amyway anyone else wanna share what they think?

For me it's listen to it 3 or 4 times to get the lyrics down and then just let it play when it plays.

Have any of you ever had the feeling that you were being pulled back in time by music?  Like if I bought a new album today and listened through it several times, in a couple months I could listen to it again and it would make me think "Wow, it feels like it's April 2010 again."  I know that sounds kind of stupid, but has anyone else had that happen to them?

Pea-Tear Griffin

Nah man I know what you mean I was listening to some Lost Prophets and I was like I feel like it 2006 again

Hi no Seijin

I've been listening to Celtic music lately.  A lot of soothing music.  Really makes me want to learn Irish.

Does anyone know if those Rosetta Stone programs work?
Best.  Cane.  EVER!

They're supposed to. I've heard good things about them.

Also, JBT released their new CD, April Uprising. My favorite from them by far.

Lately, I've really gotten into Weezer. Their second album, Pinkerton, is quite seriously one of the best albums I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. It's quite a bit darker than their other works, but it's totally fantastic, and the more I listen to it, the more I need to listen to it. Also, Rivers Cuomo has an awesome voice.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

I recently purchased the new Deftones album, Diamond Eyes.  I like it pretty well.  My favorite song so far is 976-EVIL.

Deku

Been addicted to Chain by Back-on. Great song, and this is coming from someone who's not a big fan of Japanese bands.

The Pillows, famous for their work on FLCL. They rock pretty hard.

Just thought I'd add some information about my most recent musical exploits.

Since I last posted, I've rounded out my Weezer collection. I now have every one of their albums. Their latest, Hurley, was great -- better than I had anticipated, in fact. They've revisited the kind of power-pop style that the Green Album was centered around, and it fits them very well. The other two albums I picked up by them previously, Make Believe and the Red Album, were also both fantastic. Surpassed my expectations, for sure.

Another group I've begun taking an interest in is the B-52s. Someone was playing Rock Lobster over voice chat in Team Fortress 2 a while back, and I liked the song, so I looked it up on YouTube and listened to it again. I loved it! I listened to some more of their stuff, as well -- also excellent. I decided that since I was gonna be buying Hurley at Best Buy the next day anyways that I'd look for a Greatest Hits album, and I found one. I enjoyed it thoroughly, so I decided I'd order their first two albums from Amazon.com. Can't wait for them to get here! :D

Then today I went to the local record store and I bought the remastered Beatles' Past Masters. It cost $18 (and I can get a new copy at Walmart for $20 >_>), but I had filled out one of their stamp cards, good for $10 in store credit, and since it was high on my list of priorities for slowly recollecting the Beatles' catalogue (mainly because I really like the stereo versions of some of their older material), I bought it. I ended up getting a like-new used copy for only $8. Not even Amazon could beat that! :D
