What are some very notable early games with very recognizable musical scores? I've got the Legend of Zelda, Mario, Sonic, Megaman, Metroid...

Oh, right, I had that one too, forgot to list it...I"m trying to find links to all the big notable scores, I need it for Drama...we're doing a musical pantomime, have a great idea, but I have to go soon and need to get the music now so I can arrange it...

Basically, any links to the songs I'm looking for would be great. They have to sound like the old arcade version..

Donkey Kong maybe? I'm not sure where to find one though...

DW

That's all I need, is places to find said music...

E.T for the Atari 2600..... ;)  No?

How about Duke Nukem Forever? ;)

I'm not sure if it counts as "early", but I liked the pokemon soundtrack.

darkphantomime

Here's a good place to start, it has some Zelda and some Final Fantasy soundtracks

And there's also...

Galbadia Hotel

Hope that helps.

Thanks guys, I'll look through that...I wish I could find some Pacman sounds...just the background of him going 'wakawakawakawaka' you know..

What about the Tetris themes?

DW

It would be hard to do falling blocks...anyways, I already got everything. Basically, in Drama we are doing Musical Pantomimes. I decided mine would be a homage to the Golden Days of Gaming, so I had the old school Mario theme, Zelda theme, Final Fantasy, etc.
