your point is good your right we never ask we no what to do

thanks for posting

I would appreciate that better if you at least tried to use correct spelling and grammar.  I dub thee 'JDogII'.

Of course, you're inherently wrong; This is an 'asking questions' thread, and your question has been answered, we can't have an FAQ if we don't have any questions that are asked frequently.  Know what I mean?

I hope you do, I doubt it too.

Cheers,
Tacheon Alexander Black.

Gamefreak

I wouldn't say this is a "frequently asked questions" topic.

It's more like a Q&A session where you all ask me about my life and my ideas.

JDog

Did you remember the whole affiliating or linking to Hyrule field thing? I sent you a PM, but I guess you haven't got it yet, no?

JDog

How did you find TDC Gamefreak?

I got it alright, I'll see about linking or affiliating soon. Don't rush me, I don't have it all figured out yet :P. Jack's a confusing guy.

I'll also have to figure out whether to link or affiliate, it depends on your content and such. Might have to link first and affiliate sometime later, who knows. We'll see I guess.  ;D

Yea, we got some content coming. We got alot of it right now, well, not as much as here, but we got all the game info pages filled, except for the spin off ones that I put in. anyways, I'm also trying to make a new layout, but I don't understand CSS. :( Do you know CSS?

Quote from: kamakaziplumber on November 16, 2007, 01:26:43 PM
CSS is part of HTML. You see, CSS is just a way to format HTML pages collectively... like, for example, you might have a web page with two HTML pages. It's small, and you probably wouldn't use CSS because you'd only have to edit two pages to change the background colors, text size, text color, etc.

However, if you have a big website, like TDC or my old Mabe Village (big as in number of files, not popularity  ::)) You're going to want to create CSS pages for any recurrent styles you're going to have on your site, and then you just have your HTML pages look at that CSS file when it loads.

Fun Fact: CSS actually loads faster than settings within HTML!

CSS is also handier for dynamic page thingies, like menus with drop-down links or tooltips when you hover over links, that kind of stuff. CSS can also allow you to layer and move around separate entities on your page so it looks like one thing is on top of another, which helps with the aesthetic value of your page in some cases.

Fun Fact 2: With CSS, you can have one setup for Firefox and another for Internet Explorer, then just tell your HTML pages to choose which one based on the browser the person is using to view the page. This helps sites with complex layouts because you won't have to worry about things shifting around on other browsers!

Anyways, is that enough? I know plenty about it I do.

... Actually, that might be all. Besides the actual code.  ::)

MagmarFire

It's an online, automated map. You just type in a starting location and the place you want to go, and the website will automatically give you a route to that location based on either the shortest distance or best fuel efficiency. It's quite convenient, really...

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Gamefreak

I found TDC by trying to find Legend of Zelda sites that managed to slip through the cracks of my school's online filter.

That's right, Gamefreak breaks the rules too.

JDog

Haha, nice, do you happen to know any CSS?

Gamefreak

I know C++

But not CSS.

JDog

Dang, goes to next person*

MagmarFire

When do you think you're going to be able to continue Hylian Hilarity, again? :-\

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

kamakaziplumber

Well, since Jdog's question has already been answered... somewhat, I'll address MagmarFire.

I'll be honest here: Hylian Hilarity adheres to no strict schedule, even if it did have one  ::). Updates may or may not appear regularly, it all depends. But, as far as when I'll be able to continue it, I'll likely continue as soon as I have enough reason to set up a link and, consequently, set up a link. I'll likely have a new episode ready for the link creation... ceremony?

I've actually had the episode idea ready for months and months, I'm just lazy, eh? Especially with artsy stuff.
