I have the occasional thought Zelda Veteran believe it or not.  Moreso during this school year than usual.

Thanks for asking a serious question about my life.

Dear Gamefreak, Did you kill Ezlo?

DW

Have you always wanted to be in politics? If not, what other jobs did you consider?

Gamefreak

To JQ:  No...........of course not......

To Shikamaru: I've had an interest in politics since the 2004 election.  But I haven't considered making it my proffesion until recently.  My Principal gave me the idea to run for School Board or City Council.  Assuming I win, it will only be a part-time job.

Hi no Seijin

So you would still be heading off to college if you won?
Best.  Cane.  EVER!

Have you figured out how to add things to content yet? If so can you add my site to the links?

I'll see to it eventually, but right now I'm kinda swamped. Remind me tomorrow, maybe?  ;)

Ok, we had to remake the forums because no one knows how to run PHPBB so we just decided to use SMF which Joey knows how to, I'll remind you later, and if you can, I'll have Joey add you to the links.

Zelda Veteran

Is Computer Game Programing a good field to go into? Of course, right now, I'm gonna start at Papa Johns :P

But I'm looking into a career path, and you seem like a real smart guy. I'm no good with math, so programing isn't really up my ally. But I've been told I design some good web-pages, and I can think up an entire story within hours.

I'd like to be able to suggest ideas to say, Nintendo, or Microsoft, and them actually take me seriously. I understand that I'll have to start small, and work my way up, but I'd like to get your opinion on this.

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Gamefreak

Hi no Seijin:  Yes, although it will be very tiresome, City Council meetings only take place every other Monday.

Zelda Veteran: I spent my freshman and sophomore year wanting to be a programmer.  But I'm not to entirely good at it.

Although I can say that you rarely have to solve complicated math programs AS the programmer.  That's what you put off on the person using the program.

This is a weird question to ask seeing as I am the the creator and webmaster of my own website, The Elemental Archer, ::)

But.....what is the difference between CSS and HTML?

They seem pretty similar to me.

kamakaziplumber

CSS is part of HTML. You see, CSS is just a way to format HTML pages collectively... like, for example, you might have a web page with two HTML pages. It's small, and you probably wouldn't use CSS because you'd only have to edit two pages to change the background colors, text size, text color, etc.

However, if you have a big website, like TDC or my old Mabe Village (big as in number of files, not popularity  ::)) You're going to want to create CSS pages for any recurrent styles you're going to have on your site, and then you just have your HTML pages look at that CSS file when it loads.

Fun Fact: CSS actually loads faster than settings within HTML!

CSS is also handier for dynamic page thingies, like menus with drop-down links or tooltips when you hover over links, that kind of stuff. CSS can also allow you to layer and move around separate entities on your page so it looks like one thing is on top of another, which helps with the aesthetic value of your page in some cases.

Fun Fact 2: With CSS, you can have one setup for Firefox and another for Internet Explorer, then just tell your HTML pages to choose which one based on the browser the person is using to view the page. This helps sites with complex layouts because you won't have to worry about things shifting around on other browsers!

Anyways, is that enough? I know plenty about it I do.

... Actually, that might be all. Besides the actual code.  ::)

Gamefreak-- (and this isn't just a shameless peg, it's a serious question...)

Why do you insist on being the only administrator on the forums?

What happens if you have to unexpectedly leave with no notice?

When you do become mayor or governor or whatever, what'll you do with these forums?

Do these pants make my butt look big?
