New Year's Resolutions/Predictions/Shout-outs/etc.

Since we can't really have a countdown due to time zone differences, I figured that we should have just a resolutions and predictions topic for 2008 anyway. Just give a statement about what you plan on happening or want to happen or what have you for 2008.

For me, it's apprehension. In 2008, my 18th birthday occurs. I'll legally be an adult, and...for some reason, I have a feeling that this is the end of fun as I know it. Meesa thinks that I'll lose any naïveté I might've had!

To cut it short, I'm worried that my life will start going down the drain when I hit the big one-eight. Yeah, I know I'm being paranoid, but still... :-\

I have the same fear, Mags. Although, I'm only 15, so it's a few years off. ;)

I want to land an actually important role in a play...Although honestly I think my last performance will be next year, if I perform at all.

My new years resolution is to get straight A's so I may proceed onto Tokyo University.

As for the growing up fear, Id dissmiss it. Im never going to stop having fun just because my age declares it.

I turn 21 this year, WHOO-HOO!  Can anyone guess what that means?  So my New Year's resolution is to kick off my drinking career but not overdo it because I want to keep my GPA at 3.9.  This is going ot be tough though because 2008 is an election year, as you know, and I don't know if I can handle all the campaign commercials.  I mean, after seeing one every other commerical, Johnnie Walker might begin to look pretty friendly.

Cosplay-wise:
Finish Robbie (I just need to add zippers and padding)
Make Wolf Link's body
Possibly start a bubble-head nurse cosplay *
Help my friends with Skull Kid
Go to Ikkicon and Realmscon, possibly Oni-con

Game-wise:
Get to be good at hard on Rock Band/Guitar Hero
Play Silent Hill Origins, Born From a Wish, and beat THE ROOM
Beat LA, MM (again) and OOT (again)
Hopefully buy a PS2

Life-wise:
I'm happy with life. ;3
* hopefully lose weight for said nurse costume
Learn to drive automatic/get my permit

Art-wise:
Get better at acrylic and watercolour
Buy some prismacolour markers
Sell stuff at Realmscon

I usually make resolutions, but I end up giving them up for Lent....

I don't have anything specific, except maybe to get better at Guitar Hero and/or Rock Band and start attending tourneys.

I also have to start visiting colleges too.  Although if things go my way, I get a free ride.

Well, there is good stuff to come in big 08, but... something inside me tells me catastrophy is about to strike. I don't know why, but I was feeling something dark as the ball was dropping...
