Ok this is the first page of a Zelda fan fic of mine. And I hope you guys like it. I reeeeaaaaally want to see some more ZELDA stuff here on TDC. I always only see Gaara, Sasuke, Naruto, or Itachi AMVs.

I awoke to the sun shining into my face through the window. The regular sounds of my little island home began to make them selves clear and distinct. There was the squawk of the seagulls flying high above the land. There was the sound of the fisherman cursing as the gulls stole their catch. And there was the laughs and cries of the little children playing. And last but not least there was the familiar sound of mother moving around in the kitchen. Smiling, I sat up and brushed the golden blond hair from my face. Looking around the room I found a folded up pair of pant and put them on. Tip toeing out of the room, careful not to disturb my little brother that slept peacefully on the bunk atop mine. Walking out of my room and into the kitchen I kissed my mother and walked out of our tiny little hut of a house.

The sun greeted my bare chest with warmth as walked out of the house. I looked around outside, shielding my eyes from the sun. I saw my friend Levi across the field, sitting atop a hill that looked out upon the surrounding ocean. I smiled and dashed toward him. In moments of entering the field I became up to my waist with tall grass. But as I made my way up the hill the grass began to get shorter and shorter, as if refusing to go any further up. Levi turned just as I got to the top of the point where he sat.
"Hey there Vember. Hows it goin'?" I sat down next to him and looked out to the ocean. The sun was higher above the horizon now, but it cast a glare upon the ocean, as if it was pouring itself out. I looked at him. He looked tired. He was growing stubble over his face and it was apparent that he hadn't shaved in a while. His eyes had large bags under them and he had a mournful look in his eyes. Yet he was still smiling. Thats just like him too.
"Im doing fine." I said back. "But you look like you've had a fight with a Goron! He frowned now. And let out a sigh as if he had been waiting for someone to ask or notice his haggard appearance.
"I need to leave Vember. I cant stand being cooped up like a Cuccoo! I need to see other places, meet new people!" He let out another sigh. "But this is only a dream. I dont have money for a-" I cut him off and said,
"How much." I knew he needed money. He had very little anyway. And I had a couple hundred rupees in my savings jar. He looked at me baffled.
"Wh-why? Oh. Oh no no no no no! I couldn't take money from you! I know that you where saving up for a-" I cut him off again. And I looked him in the eye and smiled.
"I'll make a deal. You take me with you, and I'll pay. Just tell me where you want to go." He smiled, the longing left his eyes and was replaced with a look of happiness and hope.
"Really?! You would do that?!" I laughed and pat him on the back.
"Levi, we've been buds since we were wee little boys. I know that you've always been adventurous and you know that Im always behind you, all the way. Theres that little boat shop on the other side of the island. Im sure they would have somethin' good for us!" I got up and held out my hand. He looked up at me and he said,
"Sounds like a deal. I promise I'll pay you back one day!" I gave him an evil smile,
"You better! Or you'll wake up as octo food!" He grabbed my hand and I helped him up. I looked at him and asked a question that had been on my mind since the idea came up.
"Do you even have an sea chart?" He looked at me and nodded.
"Yeah, I got one. But only ours." I nodded and said to him,
"Meet me at the boat shop, I'll go get my rupees." He nodded and then started to walk away before he turned and said,
"Oh and Vember, wear a shirt. Its not like your trying to impress anyone." I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Don't be jealous." We both laughed and went our own ways.

I met him a few minuets later outside the shop. He looked eager and excited.
"How much do you have?" He asked me as we walked into the shop.
"How much do you need?" I didn't want him to use all of it like I knew he would if he knew how much I had. He let out a sigh, not really expecting me to have the right amount. He looked around on the floor and at his feet before looking me in the eye and saying,
"I need two thousand rupees." I almost fainted. Two thousand! Thats huge! I only had one thousand or so.. So I told him the truth.
"Look, Levi. I only have one thousand. Im sorry. Really." He looked really bummed out. I felt horrible. A man suddenly came out. He was tall and had bags like Levi's under his eyes. He wore a long blue fisherman's jacket and had gray hair in small places in his beard and hair. He smiled a sly smile and said,
"I hear you dont have enough money for your boat? Is that right?" I didnt like this man instantly.
"Who's askin'?" I said a bit ruder than I should have. He frowned.
"The name's Linebeck. And I was gunna cut you a deal but if your just goin' to be rude then..." He began to turn away.
"NO WAIT!" I yelled out. I didnt want to ruin this for Levi if I had the chance to make it right.
"Im sorry, what's your deal Linebeck?" He smiled.
"Thats more like it. Now, It's not that hard. But..." He moved in closer.
"But I need you to find someone for me. He's an old friend and I need to give him a message. But unfortunately he is in hiding, so I can give you a basic location but your on your own there on out. Just pay me five hundred rupees, the rest will be your supply money. Then find this person for me and rely my message. Return with his reply and you will get to keep my boat." I looked at Levi. He was looking at me. I smiled and pulled five hundred rupees out of my pocket.
"When do we start?"

Im very sorry about the delay. Over on my DA account Im working on another story and my peers have me on a deadline so Im kinda stuffed. But have no fear! The second part will soon be here...tomorrow. ;)

EDITED!!: Ok, well, Im so sorry but unfortunately I have three homework assignments that I've been putting off and those come first. So, the second part may come soon. Or not. All depends on how much longer I can put off that homework! I'll have something up today though, I swear. ;)

Edited...AGAIN!!: Okay, here is the long awaited second half to Journey!

Vember and Levi walked from the shop twenty minuets later with a list of supplies needed, a name, and a mark on their sea chart of a general area where the man named Kiln was hiding out. They had been told by Linebeck that this job was not exactly legal. So if the Ocean Guards or the N.O.G.(New Order Guards)asked any questions that their excuse would be that they were two brothers taking a trip to their grandmama's house for vacation. The two boys wondered who the New Order Guards were, and why the vast sea would have guards. But they were not answered and were told to, "Shove off before they got to nosy for their own good." They walked together back up to the hill. The little bugs flying or hopping out of the tall grass to avoid being stepped on. They got to the top and sat down, looking out into the sea as the sun climbed into the top of the sky. Levi looked at Vember and smiled, Vember smiled back and they both said, in unison,
"How 'bout a beer?" they laughed and Levi spoke.
"That sounds plenty good to me. But if you get me caught I'll kill you." Vember crawled backwards to a grass less patch of ground. He started to dig until his fingers scratched the surface of two glass bottles. He continued to dig more until he fully pulled out the two bottles. They were filled to the top with beer that Vember had stolen from his father once the old man had fallen into a deep inebriated sleep. They had both decided t save them for the day that they would finally leave. So Vember crawled back over to Levi, pushing dirt off the outside of the bottles. Levi took his and looked at it with a nervous excitement. Vember didn't even wait, he popped it open and started to chug down its contents. Levi laughed as Vember took his lips from the bottle and cringed.
"Tastes like cow dung...and dont even ask how I know!"
Levi laughed and put his away in a back pocket.
"I cant drink bud. im goin to be the one workin' the boat!" Vember chuckled.
"Fine, but the second we hit shore, Im goin' ta make sure you finish every last drop!" Levi nodded his head and got up. He stretched and said,
"I hate to ruin the moment but we have supplies to buy. We're leavin' tonight. I'll sneak over to your house at the right time. Make sure to have all of your stuff together. I will have Linebeck take the boat and have it in the harbor while you get the supplies. Then I need you to meet me back at Linebeck's shop with the supplies. From there, we will load everything up so it will be ready for our night time leave. Got it?" Vember got up and did a salute,
"Aye aye, Captain Levi!" The two shook hands and ran down the hill, both eager to get their jobs done.

Vember pulled the list out of his back pocket, looking at the first item. Two barrels of FRESH water. The word fresh was underlined twice. Vember knew where to get that. But the barrels would need some of his famous thieving skills to acquire. So, he ran down to the dock. Luckily it was the high point of the day and all the fisherman were too far out to see a teenage boy stealing two barrels. So Vember quickly grabbed a hold of a large barrel, inspected it for worms, rotting things, and holes. Once he found that it was in the clear he started to carry it as fast as possible towards the woods. His plan was to set it down near this little fresh water spring in the middle of the island. He made his way through the forest and finally got to the spring. Its waters were almost glowing with beauty. He set the barrel down behind some bushes and walked over to the water. It was clear as a crystal. He scooped some up and drank from it. It was refreshing and surprisingly cold, despite the intense heat on the island. His mother told him that if you got far enough down you would find huge slates of ice. She said that the ice cools the water, and that there was enough of it melting at such a slow pace that the spring would remain for hundreds of years. Vember snapped out of his thoughts, looking at the sky and noticing that the sun was going down. He still needed one more barrel and the fishers would coming closer to land. He had to get the barrel before they were close enough to see him! So, in his panic, he ran. He ran faster than ever. Tree branches smacked him in the face and he tripped on logs several times, but he just kept on going. He eventually got out of the forest and back towards the dock. Where out in the distance little black dots began to grow bigger as they made their way to shore. The boats were coming home! So he looked around frantically, and finally found a barrel. He checked it again and then ran. Looking back only once to see that the boats were coming in enough to see the details. He ran, hoping, praying to the gods that he wouldn't be caught. If he was he would be put in a cell for the next two weeks. The punishment only being so severe because fishing was the main source of income for the island. So if anything went missing that could slow down the flow of things it was usually met with horrid consequences.

I had more, a LOT more, but while I was typing it the forum logged me off so I lost TONS of it. And frankly I dont feel like putting it up right now. So yeah, im extremely upset. Mostly because I ALWAYS put the option 'Log me in FOREVER'. Yet every single time I write a long story, this happens. >:(

Zelda Veteran

That happened to me while writing a chapter of "Dead". TWICE.
I eventually just gave up due to depression and frustration.

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

It's situations like those that make me want to copy my information. Therefore, if something like that happens, I can just start a new post and paste the information back on. It helps--trust me.

I actually do that. But I had just gotten so far that I forgot to copy. So yeah. Sorry but no more story.
