So, like, I was playing Brawl, and I got the toon Link trophy because I'm awesome like that.

Then I noticed that it says that he got his clothes on his 12th birthday. You know, the age of the hero, which is more than likely the same Link from OOT.

So, if this is the case, then in OOT, he is 12, and 19 after the age difference.

DW

The problem is that there are so many heroes by the time WW comes around, all with the same costume.

Then again, that fits in with my estimations fairly well.

Plus, the age of the hero was passed down through legend, right? So the local yokels could have very easily been mistaken.

It's a legend by then, though. Those aren't exactly known for being entirely accurate to the source.

Edit: This is what happens when you take too long to compose a post.

Fishalicious

I know, but still-it's probably still around that age.

MagmarFire

It very well could've been earlier than twelve years. As I see it, as generations go by, the age at which children are considered adults increases, and this is, what...eight hundred years in difference? A few hundred years ago, people we consider children today were getting married and having children.

But we could also assume that the ages were the same. It's possible that it could've been chronicled in writing and remained unchanged...right?

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Vaati

FINALLY! We know Link's age! Well, toon Link, anyway. Look's like my theory of him being 10 is down the drain. And they say that in order for Link to wear those clothes, he had to be the same age as the Legendary Hero, who I'm guessing is OoT. So he's probably 12, too. Wow...so he was 19 instead of 17 when he was an adult in OoT. I guess that makes sense, being that you're a legal adult when you're 18.

DW

18 is the legal age HERE. In some places girls are married off and bearing children at 13. Coming of age is different everywhere.

In a rainforest tribe, you have to put on armwarmers made of bullet ants to be considered a man.

Bullet ants feel like being shot when they sting you. Imagine 100's at a time. They also scream at you before they sting.

It's not right.

Commodore Axilon

In Judaism, you have to read from a book to be considered a man.

It's not right.

Spend it wisely.

Vaati

Man-shman! My cousin's cousin, Sammy has already had his bar mitzvah and he still acts like a child!  :-* lol.
Now, if only we could find out Vaati's age. I think maybe between 12 and 15 (in MC)...

Commodore Axilon

I think he's a lot older than that.

Vaati

(Looks at picture of Vaati) I dunno. When they said that Vaati is a "young Minish" I find it hard to believe that a thirty-year old would be Ezlo's apprentice. I guess it could be possible, but "young" just doesn't seem to fit "thirty".

Consider how wizened Ezlo is.
