Don't worry; I have the same thing. Though looking into it will likely take awhile because I deleted my file a few weeks ago...

And you didn't double-post. It was just a side-effect of merging the two topics.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

blue_darkling

oh well i sort of double posted... xD

and are you sure you know where the room i'm talking about is, or would you like me to explain it more clearly?

MagmarFire

Nope, I think I can visualize what room you're talking about.

Lokes

Has anyone rekindled the glitch where you kill Navi? OoT, at the wall with an angled bend south from Lon Lon Ranch.

I don't know it, but someone here do, I remember reading it here a long time ago.
The rising sun will eventually set,
a newborns life will fade.
From sun to moon, moon to sun...
Give peaceful rest to the living dead...

blue_darkling, I think that isn't a glitch. If I recall correctly, that pillar room is the same room as the mirror and sunblock room.

Keaton

Whocares, you are a smelly.

oh, well i can't see a pillar to be honest, and if you have to be a goron to knock it down then it can't be underwater because gorons can't go underwater. i just don't understand this because there is no pillar and the guides say that the door leads you to it.

MagmarFire

Does the pillar have faces on it? Or face-like features?

blue_darkling

i have no idea sorry. why, have you found something?

MagmarFire

From memory, I remember this room with this pillar with...faces or something on it. You'd knock down the pieces one by one as if you had the Megaton Hammer, and you'll be able to use a light beam from the ceiling to reflect the light to the mirrors in the room.

That's if memory serves me correctly.

blue_darkling

yeah that's what all the guides say, but i just can't find the room with the pillar in it!  :'(

MagmarFire

I think I also remember some sun switches on the wall next to the pillar, too. Oh, yeah--and Black Boes in the room that try to mess you up when you have your shield out.

TP Zelda

If you wear the Kamaro's Mask, keep pressing "B" and all music should disappear until you stop.

Does that count? XD

Blue_darkling, speaking as the resident MM expert, I would honestly have to say that the Stone Tower of Ikana is one of the most tedious dungeons I have ever had to go through.  Are you playing on the Gamecube version, or the Nintendo 64 version?  If you're playing the Gamecube version, take your memory card and go to someone's house who also has the proper game and console(s) to play GCN MM.  Check to see if it's just a glitch in your game.

If you're playing in the N64 version, it's possible that it's just a glitch, in which case you're screwed.

However, try every possible option.  I don't recall specifically where that room is, but if you'd like I can play through up to that point and then write down my instructions (from the entrance) to get to that room.

blue_darkling

yeah i'm playing it on the gamecube, and thank you for the offer but you don't have to give me instructions and stuff cause i've completed the game before using cheats, i just wanted to do it without cheats this time lol
