Navi, the reason for Hyrule's destruction

TP occured in the other timeline, you know. Whatever the designers say goes, whether the fans like it or not.

Also, even if the flood happened many years after OOT Link dies, it could still have been Navi's fault, He might not have gone back to Hyrule. If Navi hadn't left, he would have stayed in Hyrule, have kids, and train them should any be male (not an insult to any female members, but this IS a medieval era- like world, so...). The family would continue until the time the flood happened, and one of them would destroy Ganon. Basically, if Navi didn't go missing, there woud be a family of heros.

And no, this isn't to put the blame on Navi. I'm just saying an obvious possibility no one mentioned yet.

I guess you can pretty much blame Navi as the catalyst of one of the best zelda games of all time.

Nonetheless, there are female warriors in Zelda, I think that's what Mags was trying to get across.

Her dad raised her to be that way, remember? And while it wasn't traditional back then, it DID happen. I remember reading in History ab out a single 15 year old girl leading men into combat, and winning! However, she was later captured and burned at the stake.

That's assuming he would have had kids.

Also, why does Link have to be the hero? Sure, he's always the main protaganist (ugh, spell check, please?) in the games, but that doesn't mean he's the only candidate for the Hero of Hyrule. Link's cool and all, but for once I'd like to see a game where the theme is to find the courage to stand up to evil even though you don't hold a piece of the Triforce. A game like that would have the potential to equal or surpass MM (at least plot-wise) in my book.

Also, it may be a medieval-like world, but that's not to say females weren't allowed to fight with swords in Hyrule. Considering that Hyrule looks to be a patriarchal society it wouldn't seem likely that a woman would join the army, but I wouldn't dismiss that chance just because women weren't allowed to fight in Earth's Middle Ages. Hyrule =/= Earth.
