I never said it didn't need to be fixed.   I kid, I kid, though I was semi-editing in my head. But, little cosmetic things that I probably wouldn't even change.

EVE, it'd be nice for you to be the counterpoint person, sure. A little sarcasm directed towards news content is always welcome. It'd be like a TDC Daily Show!   Except with Zelda/gaming news... Wow, I'd love that.

So, send in a sample of what you might do. Maybe grab an article off of some other site, like The Hylia or some such thing, and just comment on it. PM it to me if you'd like, unless you really really want to post it here. And, link the the original article.

Oh, and I'll take more where I can get it, so if anyone else is interested in a counterpoint spot go ahead and do the same thing after showing interest here. For that matter, if anyone else is interested in posting news be sure to make it known. My dream is to have a news team.

Neat, but it needs to be much wider.  Think, VAST EXPANSE OF SAND-- and we're right in the middle.  We're the single, solitary oasis of (in)sanity in the Zelda world.  The place where those of weak body and soul can take solace in the fact that we're taking care of them.  FOR INSTANCE:  Throw a few gradient maps over it.  Some warmer colors... but then reduce the opacity so it's not obvious.

Exactly: Like reduce the opacity of "DESERT COLOSSUS" too. Again, thats not exactly how I intended it there, but I tried. You've got a good image in your head there EVE. I like it.

Alright, regarding layout changes:

Jack says he'd be OK so long as it wasn't a radical change. He loves the site the way it is now, but he'd be willing to see a new layout if it "wowed" him. Those seem to contradict each other, yes, but I think he means something between the two. I don't know. Most important, though, is that he'd want to see any possible designs first. EVE, are you up for the challenge? They keep saying you are...

On that subject, I think it would be nice just to shine up the current layout... like, maybe keep the color scheme but add sheen to the sidebar and such, and maybe change the header. I don't know, whoever makes it can do figure it out. I'd need a sample of that, though >.>

On the staff openings front, I could sure use more reporters. Like I said, I'd love a news team. Eh? Eh? More columnists are also welcome, and anything else anyone can think of. Don't be afraid to apply!

Oh, don't worry--Tacheon can DEW it! He's done amazing stuff with imagery in the past, and I'd love to see what magic he can conjure for the layout.

Say, you think Alpha's still around for news updates? Didn't he do last year's (or a year before) E3 news? Or was that Jack?
