Oh, goodie! ^_^

And I don't think AIM would work; don't have it... Would PMing work?

I decree, then, that he who smelt it shall have dealt it. Or something along those lines. Anyways, Ninja gets to do it... if his sample is good enough.

How about it? Is your sample good enough, pal?

Um... no instant messaging at all?

The Legend of Zelda: Valley of the Flood- Despite the thick cloud of skepticism around the community, those have been the words on every Zelda gamer's mind ever since a debatably real interview leaked from 4chan. In this interview, Eiji Aonuma answered a few questions asked by "Kyle" and it concerns the next Zelda title. This is all rumor for now- but the entire interview can be read here.

In a nutshell, Zelda has taken an industrial leap, and is threatened by an impending flood. The protagonist this time around isn't Link, but rather a boy who believes he's the reincarnation of the hero told in legends! A twist many gamers might be uncomfortable with. Still, it sounds very different, interesting, and provides a look into what direction Zelda could take. In the interview,(the supposed) Aonuma stated that more about the game would be unveiled at E3.

With E3 rolling around the corner, we won't have long to wait! E3 begins on Monday, July 14th at 1:00PM. The Schedule is as follows:

Quote
Monday, July 14
Microsoft (last year, bingo card): 10:30 am PT / 1:30 pm ET

How was that?

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Oh. My. Crap. ZV, that was frickin' amazing. You're in, you're so in. Did you... did you copy that from anywhere, pal? It's too perfect.

Although, technically quotes won't work in Cutenews so there will have to be some changes, but, wow. Alright, another news poster. You're getting your account... reupdated? I don't know. Actually, it's ready to go. Get to it, pal!

Oh, and yeah, Ninja. You too. ::) And yes, Magmar, give in to temptation. It would make things much easier.

Thanks dude, and no, I didn't copy it- I just invested some time in it. So... what is the account for exactly, how do I log into said account, and how(often) do I post?

You know where you went to register for commenting? Same page. There's a link to it in the comments for any news post.

The account is for Cutenews, same as you used to do. Just news reports, in general, about anything you find. Pretty much goes for the "How often" question as well; news is finicky, so, you post when you find. Just try to be actively looking, eh?

Posting is simple, but if you need help... Why not hit me up on AIM? Or I could PM you. That goes for all of you!

QuoteAlright, HA2 has been tremendously busy lately, what with summer being here and all. As some of you may not know, we have been able to actually work on the content of the RP, now that we have FTP access, and some new mods and RGs who have been hard at work getting things ready.

So over the last few months, we've had several firsts--The first new weapons since HA2 started years ago, the first new screen added since the start, the Rules Set is finally going to be updated and made easier to understand for the first time since a little after launch, not to mention the first RG-led Events in at least a very long time.

South Hyrule is even close to opening--all that needs to happen is for Gohma to finally be defeated at a topic near Ruto Town. Therein lies the problem--we need as many fighters as we can get to bring the spider down. So if any old members who have been debating whether to return are reading this, please return. We could use you. And to anyone wondering whether they've been wanting to join, now's a great time, as the Gohma topic is the most important topic ever made in HA2.

We've also had some very interesting topics started by our members.

KamakaziPlumber has launched the next part of his storyline. I've talked with him a lot about the dungeons he's going to be implementing, and they've all got incredibly challenging and creative puzzles; definitely a good one for those who like the water temples in the Zelda series. Not to mention that he is quite possibly one of the most humorous writers in HA2, his colorful cast of characters making the topics exciting and entertaining, instead of just getting drunk or bickering.

Alpha, the oldest active member, is still writing his FoG, the oldest active storyline. There's a reason his topics are renowned in HA2, they are definitely worth joining, or just reading if you need something to do. He's past the halfway point in his arc now, and he has some of the highest-quality writing you'll find anywhere.

Orpheous has started a topic about a tragic mass teleportation accident that I know nothing about, but it looks incredibly intriguing...he's known for being clever, so who knows what he's going to do with this mystery?

I myself (Sabertache) have tried to implement some games into the RP to add more variety to what we currently have to offer. They're a quick, easy way to level up and make money, and may possibly have greater prizes if my discussions with the powers that be go well.

RG has started an interesting Quest for HA2's third birthday--everyone is out looking for some kind of seed. Who knows what the rewards will be, or if they'll even find this seed, but it's bound to be interesting, as RG hasn't done something like this in quite a while.

So yes, if you've been wanting to join HA2, but have been put off by the stats, don't worry; the stats are really a secondary thing, and pretty much any member there will be more than willing to help you. We're a nice bunch of guys (and a few girls), and we have a lot of fun. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

Seeing as how I didn't have a real topic in mind, I just kind of rambled...

Hey, um, is this in HTML or BBCode?  I don't want to make my first post a coding NIGHTMARE

kamakaziplumber

HTML. And you need to hand-<a> any links, too. But, yeah.

OK, Ninja, looking good. A bit lengthy, would definitely need to be split up, but, informative and serves its purpose. I'll see about getting you set up as well.
