...Do you guys think he'll work on any more Zelda games? Seems to me like his involvement is starting to dwindle, much like it seems (to me, anyway) Miyamoto himself is becoming less and less involved in the games. As far as I see, he didn't work at all on PH's music, and I think it might've been Toru Minegishi who composed the music for TP, only under Kondo's supervision.

Don't take this the wrong way, though. I think Toru Minegishi is a great composer! I mean, for those of you who played Animal Crossing, you know how serene and well played the music is!

My question is...do you think Koji Kondo will stop composing Zelda music anytime soon? I sincerely hope this will not be the case...

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

I don't think he'd stop composing Zelda music. I mean come on- Zelda is one of the best selling franchises right now. Now if he'd been working on Bomber-man games, then we could worry. But Zelda is pretty much top-dog. Maybe he just needed a break. A lot of bands and composers go on long breaks, where nothing is heard of them for quite a while. I think I might just be taking time to get his inspiration back, or better yet- he's just been saving all of his good music for the next upcoming major title. :-[

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

I hope that's all that is. I would hate to think that he's trying to train a replacement. :-*

How old is he?
Maybe he doesn't think he has much time, and he doesn't want to leave Zelda without a good composer.

Well, it's not bad to have an heir to the throne, so to speak. I mean, a king prepares his son for the throne at some point, yes? It could be what Kouji's doing.

While I would be deeply saddened if he left, it could bring fresh material to Zelda.

I think Wikipedia says he was born in 1960, so I guess that makes him around forty-seven or forty-eight.

And you're right, Fisk. I don't think I've thought about it being an heir-like thing.

His use of the Golden Scale (NOT LIKE THE ITEM) is so absolutely wonderful that he deserves like a Nobel Prize or something.

I hope so. He did a pretty good job on the Minish Cap music.

I don't think he will leave Zelda music.
He can express allot in his music and has a very wide opportunity to make more up. I don't think he will leave it - his work is too good ^^

I think he'll still compose for Zelda, but he might work with a different apprentice to add a new sound but still give it the Zelda feel if you know what I mean

I adore his music, I hope he doesn't stop doing Zelda music. If any one knows when or if he will be doing something live... XD PLEASE TELL ME!!  ;D

Zeldaguy124

If he ever does anything live I doubt it would be anywhere near where I live so I would end up missing it   :'(

Koji Kondo has already done a live performance.  It was terrible, his hands were shaking and his rhythm was off.  He's much better at simply composing.

Really?!  8) Awww darn it. I really wanted to see him live -  :P I don't care if it's off or anything, I just want to go and see him perform Zelda and Mario music! (Mainly Zelda though  ;))

Hmmm maybe he has stage fright like me. BUT he still is AWSOME AT COMPOSING
