I would have too.
And that is because, my dear Pickwick, a "*******" is a child without both parents. Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk

I always thought that the definition of that word was a child born out of wedlock.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

I'm not in the mood to post more.  A certain someone ruined my TDC spirit for the night.

Dear Lord, people are marrying off their children before they're born?

Keaton

******* is a derogatory term.

Bastard is in reference to a child conceived out of wedlock, not necessarily without both parents.

I am a bastard.

Twilight Wolf

What?

Fine, a *the word in question* is a child born to parents who are not married.

EDIT: Dang it, Tacheon posted before me.

Who, me?

I'm just avoiding any potential conflicts by not saying it.

If we follow the same rule, isn't the technical term for a female dog acceptable if it isn't used as an insult?

we know, tacheon.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't meaning it in the jocular manner.

Well dude, it depends on the context.

And no, TW, it doesn't necessarily mean that they're not married-- heck, then people would just marry after conception to prevent that title.  It's the date of conception that seals the deal.

CR, you're just another gray hair on my head tonight.

Ah, gotcha.

Wedlock refers to marriage, not conception.
