Guys.

We're more than half-way to our goal of 50 pages!
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Way to go, topic-killer.

Brake shoe = Zapata de freno

I win

Darth Wyndisis

Maybe it depends on who is wearing the shoe, like a man or a woman?

zapato as a noun meaning shoe is always in the masculine form

zapata means brake shoe

Sense and logic have no place on TDC.

Yes, well, some of us don't have fancy schools that can afford real spanish teachers.

Commodore Axilon

what'd you have ?

a robot Spanish teacher ?

No, a spanish teacher that was basically a substitute. That was for my junior year in Spanish I. The first guy that we got in Spanish I got fired for going insane in the class period I was in. He like, ran up to the window and it seemed like he was going to throw a chair right through the window. But then he just stopped and put the chair down and sat on it for a while... watching the class... o_o

As you can see, Anson High School is NOT the safest or sanest place to get an education at.

Damn, and I thought my French class at Damonte was bad.

Our physics teacher was also an alcoholic. My friends had him and they told me how he kept going in and out of rehab.

He didn't last long either... He got moved to teaching another class and the physics class got stuck with another teacher I had had before, but didn't like that much because of how... unchallenging he was. That unchallenging teacher went to NC State, just so you know.

Honestly, neither of them did that much teaching at all. They would just let the class fool around and do whatever.

Commodore Axilon

i actually basically didn't learn any Spanish until Spanish III

the teacher was actually from Colombia so you knew what you were learning was legit

it's surprising how much you learn when the teacher actually knows what the hell they're talking about

tTW: what happened in your French class ?
