My Spanish II class/teacher were better. She was also from Peru. One time, she took a trip down there to visit family and took a long time before she came back up to NC.

My class was pretty much worthless, really... We never learned anything while I was there. The teacher just made us draw a bunch of pictures and listen to stupid songs. Ha, like drawing's going to help us learn a language? Wouldn't it be easier just to give us pictures to look at? And the music was like something you'd play in a preschool class: repetitive and grating. I devoted more effort to trying to forget the damn song than I did trying to remember the few words we were taught that week.

No, I left the school entirely after the first quarter. Too many incompetent teachers and pointless projects, we could never reach my counselor, and he never returned phone calls, it was too high-stress for everyone in my family, and there's more... Homeschooling was just better for everyone.

Guh, my history teacher jumps on top of his desk and throws sharpies at us to imitate a civil war battle. And he ties scissors to the end of a yard stick to show us a bayonet. And in his spare time our math teacher told us horrific stories about his days in the Marines to stop us from wanted to go into the marines. I STILL get nightmares.
