Whoa, you already bid on it?

A bit of advice for the future: when I want an item, I wait until the very last minute before I put a bid on it at all. It lures people into a false sense of security thinking that nobody else is interested in the item. They're often unprepared for someone bidding so late into the auction, and sometimes can't bid back in time at all.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Fishalicious

Yeah, but I didn't bid much-no, that'd be stupid.

I also can spend quite a bit on it (I think I have $400 in my paypal, I'm not sure) but I really don't want to. 8D I just bid on it once and I'm going to be like "lol more than $1 is too expensive."

Twilight Wolf

How badly do you want this game? Another thing I've learned is that it doesn't pay to be a cheapskate. If you really want this particular copy, you've got to be willing to go outside of your financial comfort zone. If you can stretch just a little bit, sometimes that's all you need.

I'd say I'd probably spend $40 at the very most, including shipping. (I recently got paid $40, actually... hm...)

Well, there you go. However, considering that you can buy a non-"Greatest Hits" copy for $30 (the non-"Greatest Hits" ones are typically more valuable), I'd say $25 or so including shipping would be a good price. Be flexible, though, just in case.

Heh, sorry if I sound nagging, but I'm just trying to help you out.

Fishalicious

Hm? No, it's fine.

I don't know how to search for the "greatest hits" versions of games. I'd really like to get a copy of SH2: greatest hits for the PS2, but I can't seem to figure out eBay. :B

You've just got to look around for those, really... putting "Greatest Hits" into a search typically yields little to no results. Most of the time, if a game has the "Greatest Hits" label, you can only tell by looking at the picture, as very rarely do the sellers say that it's the "Greatest Hits" version of the game.

Another thing to consider is that since the "Greatest Hits" version of Silent Hill 2 is enhanced from the original version, it might be a bit more sought-after, and thus a bit more expensive.

Fishalicious

Oh, cool.

I'd assume they'd put "greatest hits" for SH2, though, since it's 1.5 times the game than the normal game is- it gets into Maria's character and lets you play a bonus spin off as her.

Twilight Wolf

That's very true... Well, you can try entering this:

"Silent Hill 2" PS2 greatest hits

...and check the "search title and description" box.

Hey, guess what.  I'm going to backtrack to let you all know that I pay more per month on video game-related stuff than I do for rent.

MasterKeyX

Wow, that's.... you should rearrange your priorities.
