Am I the only one who thinks it is ironic that HNS whines about how I never listen to anyone else, but he's even more dismissive of other people's arguments than I am?



Saw the Bela Lugosi Dracula this morning. It's aged somewhat badly, especially when put up against the Frankenstein films from the same period, and seems extremely stagebound during the England scenes. It's fun and vaguely sexual, however, and Bela Lugosi's performance is infinitely watchable. Still, if you just have to see any Dracula film, watch Nosferatu.

Guys, you've already been asked to stop.  This whole thing is ridiculous, really. 

HNS, I see where you are coming from when you say you are worried about people finding your work worthless, but please understand that Whocares' opinion is just that: one person's opinion.  Just because he might not see value in your work or other people's work doesn't mean the majority of people think the same thing. 

Whocares, there are a number of acceptable ways to reply to someone who is angry at you, and what you said in the quoted post is not one of them.  HNS's post is definitely getting a warning (as he knew it would), and I am considering giving you one as well.  As I said, you've both been asked to stop, and saying something like that isn't going to make the situation any better.

I come to this topic to laugh. It used to be funny. But with your obssession with ancient women and movies it's just no fun anymore.
