I humbly disagree, HNS.  I find that marquee tags stimulate a conversation and make it more interesting.  In fact, scientific studies show that the constant movement of the eyes (such as when you are chasing words across the screen) significantly reduce the risk of glaucoma, appendicitis, swine flu, dragon flu, or even stomach cancer.  This is because of the endorphins released during the process.  Thus marquee tags can help us live longer and more fulfilling lives.
