I am in a worky mood, so here's what we're going to do:  An introductory podcast.  Tonight.  NOW.

If anyone, ANYONE has a microphone and is willing to speak, post so in this thread, tonight.  Like, seriously, this idea can't die, as it will help to make TDC as a whole more popular.

I have the mic, but as for willingness......I guess it might depend on what you discuss.  If it's something I can get excited over enough, I could grab my mic, download Skype (which I assume will be required), and participate.  My laptop seems to be doing much better, so it's more likely my Internet will crap out on me before my laptop does.

EDITZ:  Would the Talk feature on AIM do, or will it have to be Skype?  That might be a small factor in my decision.

That's awesome.  This will simply be an introductory as to who will be talking, what they will be talking about, and a maybe doing things like highlighting neat features and members of the forums or something.  Shouldn't be longer than 20-30 minutes of continuous talking, maybe more if we get more people.

Wow it's a shame this died... the idea for the Valley of the Deluge script is just awesome... Sorry if this is necro-posting, but are any of the people who were originally involved in this towards the end still active or around?

Well, we're working on getting the podcast started up again, but for now it will just be a Zelda discussion podcast. Later on, when we're comfortable with the process, we might include the radio play. But that has been bogging down the whole project up to now, so I decided just to cut it off.

That being said, are you interested?

Well, after the 4th anyways. But YES MAGS PROVIDE A VOICE YES. As long as you can hold up your end of a discussion regarding Zelda past, present, and future, and you can be available for recordings, you're on the panel!

I'll let you know when our first recording session is. On that day, we shall all Skype each other in a group conference call. While we're discussing with each other in real-time, we'll each run Audacity in the background to record our individual audio streams. Then everyone will send me their file and I'll edit them together.

THE FIRST SANDCAST HAS BEEN CREATED!  WOO!

You heard right, we spent a few (okay, many) hours putting together the first Sancast just for you (and your friends, and acquaintances).  We're currently in the post-production process, which means we're currently censoring every time I let some blatant profanity loose.  Once we're done with that, the Sandcast will be ready for the public!  ARE YOU EXCITED?  YOU SHOULD BE!
