Correct. Google bought YouTube in 2006. The point is, I've been seeing tons of bulletins saying that Google is buying YouTube and is going to close it down, which brought up this topic about how 99% of YouTube bulletins are stupid.

Well, from what I've heard, YouTube isn't profitable for Google, so it's a possibility that they might close it down to save money.

The non profitable part probably stems from illegal anime uploaders.

Not that I mind them.  They're my escape from English dubbing.

And if YouTube closed, the internet would be... well, quite different.
