Hurricane Ike

He's moving swiftly towards our area. Everyone is getting calls telling them that we're getting out of school early on Friday. They're even starting to do emergency mandatory evacuations. The grocery stores are INSANE. People are rushing out and buying everything. Its so crazy... I never thought we'd be evacuees.

We have a mandatory evacuation here, too, but then again, we're 8 miles NORTH of where it's supposed to hit. Being on the north side of the storm is horrible, and being that close.... :B

Now, they're thinking about letting out on Thursday instead.

It WAS going to hit us here in Florida. But then Jesus waited till we were all excited, sat down in his boxers, and started laughing his butt off as he slowly guided it towards you guys.

Ike was supposed to hit 8 miles south of us but now it's hitting Houston. HAHA. LOLOLOLOL.


That being said, we have barrier islands to save us a little bit of the force of the hurricane so.

To be a bit selfish, Hurricane Hanna was not as bad as I would have thought.  I think it was a technically a tropical storm when it hit us.  And I think I slept through it.  So it must not have been bad.  I am disappointed.

I'm evacuating to San Antonio in about 15-20 minutes. Not sure why we're heading TOWARDS the storm, but.... apparently we were going to go to San Antonio this weekend anyway, so.

I brought the stuffed Hyena my friend bought me for my birthday and the Silent Hill game- the rest of what I packed is essentially neccesities or anti-boredom things. (toothbrush, clothes, DS, etc.)
