Erm, yeah, that was the plan.  And I also meant "killing the topic" in the traditional sense, like when someone posts something no one knows how to respond to, and through the natural course of posting and topic starting that typically occurs on the chatboard this topic sinks to the third page.  I thought that could remain an implied rule, but apparently not.
