That is insane. Do you have any pictures?
I do not, although I did ask my aunt for some.  We're supposed to go up to Pennsylvania to visit my mom's side of the family, so I'll ask her for some pics when I see her.

A family friend used to have a basset hound; for as long as I can remember him Boats was old, and we would play with his ears.  My brother stopped liking him after Boats ate my brother's sandwich at this one party. :P

Unfortunately, he had to be put down a few years back.  So our friend got a toy poodle puppy.  Harley is a hyper little thing.  Whenever we come over, he's jumping all over everyone.  We dog-sat him a couple of times.  The first time we had him over, that first night I had to leave the door to my room upon and sleep on the bottom bunk so he could curl up next to me, but every night after that (including the second time we dog-sat him), he would sleep in my parents' room.  He's also the kind of dog to jump up onto your lap and just lay there curled up in a ball.

For the pets in apartments question, I think most apartments will allow small dogs, cats, and caged animals.

I love dogs! I have one right now. His name is Nuzzle, he's 14 and he's part border collie, part Afghan hound. He's so cute! :D

We have a Jack Russell Terrier.
His name is Jack.

We got him after he was abandoned in some city, his tail was docked as well. We've had him for years now and he's quite old. He hasn't aged well and is nearly completely deaf and has very poor eyesight.
I LOVE him. We're very close.

Wow! Rescued from the streets. We just got my dog from the animal shelter. So yours is pretty inspiring. :)
Reminds me of this game called Radiata Stories, there's a character named Jack Russell (he's not a dog, just a human. ;) ) and his father's name is Cairn Russell (is that a type of dog breed, too?)

My dog Roman got his Christmas gift today. It's a Santa Chew Toy.

Also, he gave me a gift, too. It's a box of chocolate candies.

Hi no Seijin

If my dog gave me chocolate candies, I wouldn't accept them.

QuoteIt's a Santa Chew Toy.

And they wonder why some dogs attack people.

Oh dude, that's awesome! I love Boxers, they're beautiful. ;__;

I concur. Their colors amaze me.

Quotehis tail was docked as well

What does this mean? Also, Jack Russell's are some of the most energetic dogs I've ever seen. One of my best friends has one named Spot, he grew up with us...man, memories ;_; I need a moment.

QuoteCairn Russell

I have never heard of a Cairn Russell.

Probably because it's not a dog breed.

That's the point, she was asking it was a breed.

"Docked" Would mean "having it cut off"

I'm reinforcing the point! DX

We use to get Peanut rope toys, but these days he likes to play with the treats we give him.

I'm pretty sure there is a dog breed called a Cairn Terrier, I know someone with one, they're very cute.
And yeah his tail had been cut off, well we presumed it had anyway since his tail is like a quarter  of the size of a normal jack russell, and docking the tail used to be quite a common thing to do with terriers.

QuoteAlso, Jack Russell's are some of the most energetic dogs I've ever seen. One of my best friends has one named Spot, he grew up with us...man, memories ;_; I need a moment.
Yeah when we first got him he was absolutely wild, he was very energetic and used to run away a lot, but he always came back on his own. But as he has gotten older (he's probably about 13 or 14 now) he has slowed down a lot.

DW

I remember Spot would always chase after white cars, no other color. It was weird.

Last night I had to chase a greyhound. They are fast. :C

Man, I love my aunt's dogs. Miniature Schnauzzers. Some of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet, and extremely well behaved. I dunno if it comes with the breed or if they were just well trained, but they never bark (though they howl for a few seconds sometimes when they're really happy and excited) and lay down nice and calm when you stop playing. If I get a dog, it'll have to be a small one, so a schnauzzer's looking good. :)
