I was playing as Wolf Link looking for the 3rd poe right? Then I'm down to 1/2 a heart, a redead screams at me, I jump to the side into quicksand to break free, it screams at me again, and now I'm sinking in quicksand and I can't do anything about it. Soon, I was sucked under and got a game over.

Anything suckish happen to you?

You take enough damage that would reduce you down to half a heart.

Guh, it's been a long time since I've played; my friend probably deleted my file since I'm no longer at VCU.  Suckish as in, "ZOMG!  I'm about to die!"?  Not off the top of my head, but the parts with the Skull Kid sucks.

Cave of Ordeals wasn't that big a deal for me. Probably because I went in there with such awesome bottle contents, as well as a full wallet with the Magic Armor.

On my first try, I went in with 12/18 hearts thinking I could talk to the fairy and then resume my progress later.  :\

You are exactly right Magmar! I probably should have stated that before huh? On my 3HC, I have reached up to the Sky Temple, but I keep dying due to Aeroflos.

The worst thing for me was the old trick, fighting gannon in link to the past and whooping his wut and then him knocking me down the shaft thing.... It always sucks... But I've destroyed him so many times that it's okay I don't mind the occasional fall down
