I'm not really familiar with the series, so don't kill me if it's inaccurate. I also don't know if my reference pic was good enough either, so again, don't kill me.

The Legolas one is pretty pwnsome. I especially like his hair; definitely Legolas-like.

Except Legolas's primary weapon is the bow.  And the only time I ever saw him use a shield was when he surfed down a staircase in Helm's Deep on an orc's shield in The Two Towers.

That's why I said "primary."  You typically see him use his daggers when he runs out of arrows (a common situation for archers, which is why they should always carry around a secondary weapon such as a dagger) or when he needs to cut something.  Even if you used a picture of Link where he isn't shooting his bow, Legolas still doesn't use a shield (except for that one awesome time in Helm's Deep, but that shield still wasn't his).

Link probably would have made a better Boromir, in my opinion.

From what I remember of the movies and books, Faramir didn't use a shield.
