Hand held systems?

I'm really looking forward to Pokemon Platinum. I heard there were 40 new pokemon released. Is this true? 

there is a new one already? I haven't even played the ones they currently have for the DS! lol

Pokemon Platinum is out in Japan, but North America won't see a release until March 22.  May 22 for Europe.

And it's not exactly new.  It's pretty much equivalent to Pokemon Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald.

Oh, then i should be good, because i beat pokemon yellow and crystal just haven't played emerald, i dont think I have anyway.

Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald were enhanced remakes/versions of Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, and Ruby/Sapphire, respectively.  Platinum is an enhanced remake/version of Diamond/Pearl.  That is what I meant when I said that Platinum is the equivalent of Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald.

No, there aren't 40 new pokemon released- arceus was released as an official pokemon not too long ago.... and he has like, 20 forms (not kidding) so that may be what you're hearing.

I'm looking forward to... well, not much. Nothing's really caught my fancy; I just recently finished pokemon Diamond, and though I've told myself Platinum won't be worth it....

The extra dimension might just make it worth it. Giratina's really... meh (lol, half the 4th gen are like that) but I'm digging the extra junk.

It is Pokemon Platinum.

It seems to me that it's the first Pokemon game with an actual plot outside the usual.

I saw a commercial for that too.  It'd be cool to walk on walls like it showed for the gameplay.

It will give me something to do and keep me entertained...thats the point of them
