That being said, my favourite horror movie is probably House of Wax. I liked the characters a lot, especially the quieter brother, and the entire wax part of it made me really happy. It also wasn't just like, GOREGOREGORE, it had some thought behind it. Also, Paris Hilton dies.

I also like Silent Hill, but only because they managed to make Pyramid Head more terrifying and they added Colin the Janitor. Having played the game, I wasn't too impressed with blatant changes to the plotline, but as a movie, it was pretty good.

There was this one horror movie about this chick who was going around killing virgins. It was such a bad movie, that it was actually funny and good.

I really liked "Saw," personally. Probably the only "scary" movie I've ever seen that legitimately freaked me out. I also liked the way they scared you mentally and not through lots of blood and gore. I typically like the mental horror movies more than the hack-'n'-slash horror movies.

Saw's pretty good - I like how he [Jigsaw] teaches a lesson through his games, instead of just blindly torturing people as in most horror movies.

I really, really liked the reverse bear trap one. And the one with the wire- I wasn't too fond of the case with the doctor guy, but....

I loved the ending of Saw III.  It was very well-done.

I really liked this spanish movie called "A Christmas Tale".
I caught it on BBC Three once but have been unable to find anybody who has even heard of it, and so far I haven't found anything on the Internet about it. It wasn't the best but it has a few scenes that really stuck in my mind.
I also like "The Hole" and "The Wicker Man" among others
