Alpha

Apparently Nintendo just announced a new Zelda game. Just thought y'all'd like to know.  :D

Since I don't feel much like repeating myself, here is the article I've put on the TDC mainpage. I'm scouring the internet right now looking for more quotes and maybe even a video of the trailer that was shown at GDC, so check back there for any additional updates as time goes on.

The Glamour Nazi

Good thing I enjoyed PH.

I hope it's good and it really is WW3/PH2

And I hope for very little amount of delays.

MagmarFire

Looks cool, but...it doesn't seem...very Zelda-like to me. It feels too modern. If it's a sequel to Phantom Hourglass...yeah, major overkill. Chances are it'll be darn easy, too. >:

Guess I'll just have to wait until more information comes out...

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

The Glamour Nazi

Well alpha is good at gathering information like that.

He always rolls natural twenties.

But remember that lame steampunk Zelda hoax?

Could it be coming true but portable?

The Glamour Nazi

I am unaware on how to feel about this... :-[

I might even go for slightly sad...

I mean links conductor outfit...

TP Zelda

Wha-?!
Great, now they're just getting kids attention!! [/candothatwithMM]
=_=;;

Why won't they release a new Zelda game for teh Wii
:'(
Better than DS anyway...

Well, I guess it's ok apart from the train....
A whole bunch of kids are probably just complaining because they can't get across Hyrule fast enough.

I miss Epona and the ocarina...  :'(

K I'm done, I hope I didn't watch the wrong thing,

The Glamour Nazi

I have no Idea, Enlighten me. FT

Also, TPZ Travelling Hyrule was half the fun, this takes the un-linearness out of a great game known for it's Un-linear ness.

Uhm...
Pardon?
I don't understand what you said.

Next person to knock trains is going to make me very upset. Trains are AWESOME. End of story. Besides, you draw the tracks for the train, right? So it's not exactly linear.

Anyways, Phantom Hourglass was excellent. I actually enjoyed it more than TP. It was FRESH. It actually felt like Nintendo was putting effort into a Zelda game, instead of just applying a formula.

And if you're STILL worried, remember: it's common knowledge that Nintendo has separate Zelda teams for console and handheld games, no?

ALSO: This is almost certainly not an April Fool's joke. Major companies don't make up major news at major conferences.
The Fourth! A webcomic about the hopeless case of the game villain.

"Tis music that soothes the savage beast, but the dagger that causes long slumbers."

I never knew that.
That makes me feel better.

Hi no Seijin

Like I said in Hero92's topic, I can see Hyrule having steam engine trains.
Best.  Cane.  EVER!
Secretary of Lolcats; I won the MagmarFire Award for 2/21/08!
Filler.Filler.Filler.Fillah!  Filler.Filler.Filler.Fillah!

TP Zelda

I can't all that much.
Maybe if Wind Waker was just a big plain and no water, then maybe yes, I could see that.

The Glamour Nazi

Yeah, those Hyrulians are a Crafty bunch.

And TP, this might be you know what they were looking for, new hyrule.
