So I was really bored last night and I didn't feel like going to bed. I had been doing texture hacks all day so that was getting pretty stale. I don't know what came over me, but I decided to make a Second Life account. To my complete astonishment, it was actually quite fun. The only problem is I don't know anybody there. So does anyone here have a SL account or am I the weird one?

Ha, I asked my mom about it once and she said "only if you promise you won't get too addicted to it."  :P

At least, I think It was SL...

But I didn't sign up for it lol

Haha, I don't have SL, but I got into a one-sided heated discussion with someone about it earlier... It's a little bit funny that this was posted today.

I don't need "Second Life;" I have "Home." Basically the same thing, just on the PS3. It's fun, but it's not something I'm really crazy about.

Yep, I'm a definitely a PS3 man. However, let's not veer off-topic too much; this is General Discussion, after all.

One thing I'm wondering, though... does "SL" have any form of currency, and do you have to attain it with real money? You have to do that with "Home," which I thought was lame. "I'm going to spend my real money to buy a virtual chair! Hooray!"

When we first got broadband we tried it out but I found it so boring!
I probably wasn't really doing it right but still, I got bored and left it after flying about a bit.
Plus I hate that if you want to get the best stuff you have to spend real money.
Maybe if I tried it again I'd get adicted but I don't want to get addicted so I'm not going to try it. Simples.
